GARDENING

Gardening is an art. Growing plants in some particular area and maintaining it is said as gardening. We usually plant in the place specialized for garden near our home, we may also locate it on the roof, in the window box, on a balcony and in an atrium. There are two types of planting, useful plants and ornamental plants. Flowers and other decorative plants are called as ornamental plants; they are grown only for decorative purposes. Hanging garden of Babylon is the best example for ornamental gardens. Useful plants are grown to consume something from it. We usually consume vegetables, fruits, greens or herbs from the useful plants. A person who designs and maintains the garden is called as gardener. Insects, plants or animal are the garden pests that engaged in several unwanted activities. There are many ways to avoid these pests, but it depends upon the gardener.
